- Scrapple is loved by many in PA. Ew.
- The Strangers was *the* lamest movie. Ever. I probably would’ve been better off seeing Shama-lama-ding-dong’s The Happening.
- I suck at Guitar Hero. But I bet I would rock at Keytar Hero if there was such a thing.
- I do not recommend driving over the Tappan Zee bridge while it’s hailing and oh yeah, zero visibility.

Phew. I’m back and glad to be out of the car. Paper was made and fun had by all. Some notes from my travels:

Am heading down to PA for a couple of days to make paper with my sister. If you're curious as to what this entails, this little Flickr tutorial gives a nice overview: How to Make Paper
Just add kids, a dog and general mayhem to that photoset and that's what I'll be doing!
And now I leave you with a Simpsonized version of myself wearing a barrel...

Last night I learned an interesting fact about the drive-in movie theater I pass everyday on my way to work: at one point it showed porn. At a drive-in?! For some reason that totally cracks me up! So would the modern day equivalent be porn at an Imax?
What!? No Kevin Bacon Special?

Why this is not being aired tonight is beyond me. Geez, I'd even settle for Jason Takes Manhattan.

I'm sorry but the "GUSTO" bit is going to cost you way more than 60K.

Wow - this weekend has been all about the food.
Friday night was spent on Federal Hill: dinner at Zooma and dessert at Pastiche. Zooma was okay. The service was great and my meatballs were yummy but they earned themselves a #3 spot on my "If I Ever Own a Restaurant I Will Never Do This..." list by playing a top 40 radio station. I'm sorry but this isn't a Subway. If I'm going to be spending that much money I better have some commercial-free music playing in the background. Granted I wasn't the one actually paying the bill but still..... As for Pastiche, oh sweet Pastiche, nothing bad can be said. My Mom ordered this peach tart that I actually commandeered as my own and have been dreaming of it since.
Saturday was breakfast at Panera, sushi for lunch and then a huge cookout in our backyard for which I made Rosemary Grilled Shrimp, a Corn, Bean and Cilantro Salad and a Tomato, Red Onion, and Basil Bruschetta. Xoc duked up some rib-eyes on the grill and we were golden.
And then if Saturday night wasn't gluttonous enough, Xoc made his kick-ass omelettes for breakfast on Sunday.
I think I feel the shakes coming on from not eating anything in the past hour.

More music with the first being an excellent time-waster for rainy Fridays:
This site kills me. I love the names of the groups, names of the songs and watching the videos is one of my guiltiest pleasures.

Of the various sites I'm probably on here the most.
