Don't Call Us, We'll Call You

Took the test and this was one of the 10 questions I actually knew:

Here are some other questions from the test. Anyone know the answers?

Photography
This Frenchman lent his name to an early form of photography.

Mythology
He occupied a chair over which the “sword of” him was suspended by a single thread.

Symphonies
Mozart’s last & perhaps most powerful symphony shares its name with this planet.

Actresses
In 2008 she played Daisy, the lifelong friend of Benjamin Button. [I'm annoyed I don't know this considering the amount of ads I've seen.]

Cable TV Personalities
This Scottish-born Chef is known for his t.v. rants at weaker restaurateurs. [Ramsey, right?]

I think the photography is Daguere or Degeurre or some other French name I can't spell.

Damnacles (again ? spelling) is the Mythology one (thank you 3 Stoogers)

I got nothing on the Symphonies. I think his last one was Requiem, but I don't think it was finished and I can't think of a planet that matches.

Actress is one of the Kates, I think Blanchet.

I think you're right about Ramsey.

You did pretty good!

A daguerreotype (original French: daguerréotype) is an early type of photograph, developed by Louis Daguerre, in which the image is exposed directly onto a mirror-polished surface of silver bearing a coating of silver halide particles deposited by iodine vapor.

The Sword of Damocles is Greek legend - epitomizing the imminent and ever-present peril faced by those in positions of power. It is used to denote the sense of foreboding engendered by a precarious situation, especially one in which the onset of tragedy is restrained only by a delicate trigger or chance.

I never saw the 3 Stooges bit with this but I'm assuming it may have ended with a poke to the eye or a pie fight.

Mozart's last symphony, written in 1788, was nicknamed the Jupiter symphony.

And yup, you're right about it being Cate Blanchett.

And the Scottish-born Chef is Gordon Ramsay whose empire is crumbling as I type.
