Do not buy the whole squash. I repeat - do not buy the whole squash. The skin is so hard and so thick that I seriously entertained the idea of throwing the damn thing against a wall just to break it in half.

Never allow maple bacon to be cooked in your home. Don't get me wrong, I had no problems eating it but the smell has lingered for days. Gross!
