I don't even have to click the link. I know what the bot fly is and was disturbed the first time I found out about them.
However, I clicked the link and realized it wasn't the video I had seen. Why she didn't do this in an er/doctor's office is beyond me.

Dear Anne(r)...I did and made it through to the end. The other video I saw was a guy remove one from his back in the middle of nowhere. It was also a little larger than the one she pulled out. Totally gross.

I ended up watching it too. It was gross but the one you describe sounds worse. (you know I'll totally try to find it now).
I wondered if you would get the John reference.

Of course I totally got it. The hard part was picking which lyric to use in my response.
I found multiple videos and watched them all in disgust. Many unicorn chasers soon followed.
