Don't Call Us, We'll Call You

Took the test and this was one of the 10 questions I actually knew:

Here are some other questions from the test. Anyone know the answers?

Photography
This Frenchman lent his name to an early form of photography.

Mythology
He occupied a chair over which the “sword of” him was suspended by a single thread.

Symphonies
Mozart’s last & perhaps most powerful symphony shares its name with this planet.

Actresses
In 2008 she played Daisy, the lifelong friend of Benjamin Button. [I'm annoyed I don't know this considering the amount of ads I've seen.]

Cable TV Personalities
This Scottish-born Chef is known for his t.v. rants at weaker restaurateurs. [Ramsey, right?]

Rock Band Competition

I was so surprised to find out today that they're holding a Rock Band competition at work - tomorrow! A Rock Band competition at my work? It's just beyond comprehension for me. Playing in your living room in your pj's is one thing but playing at work, especially my work? Radical!

I have bets as to what will be the most likely Rock Band song played:

And then there of course the songs I wish, for lyrical reasons, someone would slip in there:
Rebel Girl / Bikini Kill
My Own Worst Enemy / Lit
Conventional Lover / Speck

I would just die if someone sang the lines "That girl thinks she's the queen of the neighborhood, She's got the hottest dyke in town" from Conference Room D tomorrow.

Business In Front, Party In Back

It's Friday and we're all deserving of this:

There's big hair, mullets, horrible bathing suits and keytars. The perfect music video montage!

A Guilty Pleasure of Mine

I admit it - I love Jeopardy. Trebek's an a55 and so are most of the contestants but I just can't help myself.
The online test is going to be available at the end of this month and I just may register. The questions can't be *that* hard, can they?

Getting Intimate With The Couch

Although not as lucky as Spector to have had 2 weeks off from work, I was off long enough to truly relax. I'm talking lounging-in-my-pj's-all-morning-then-taking-baths-at-3-in-the-afternoon type of relaxing. In between eating, playing PS2, and watching The Twilight Zone marathon I was fortunate (or unfortunate in certain cases) to catch the following:
  • The Dark Knight (Excellent.)
  • Iron Man (I could watch this over and over and over again. Seriously.)
  • The Incredible Hulk (This was aiight. Not great but entertaining nonetheless.)
  • Hedwig and the Angry Inch (This was disappointing. The 3-sentence blurb on the Netflix sleeve was more interesting than the movie itself.)
  • King Kong (1933)
  • Scooby Doo Meets Batman
  • Scooby Doo Meets the Harlem Globetrotters
  • Elf
  • The Black Devil Doll from Hell
  • Adaptation (We didn't seek this out - it was a channel surfing accident. I think the only thing that made us stay on that channel was Nicolas Cage looking more bizarre than usual.)
  • The Big Lebowski (Thanksgiving = The Last Waltz and New Year's Eve = The Dude.)
  • Them!
  • Real Genius (There's been talk of a sequel. Not sure how I feel about that.)
  • Return to House on Haunted Hill (Truly awful but somehow I just couldn't resist.)
  • Jesus Camp (I don't get it - Harry Potter is deemed evil but rat tails are acceptable?)
Up next before the break is over:
  • Picnic at Hanging Rock
  • Iron Man
